Great American Clean-up: March 1-May 31

April 22, 2011 - EARTH DAY.  Do something to help the planet.

April 18, 2011 - KCCB's monthly board meeting at the Coffee County Administrative Plaza.  Guest speaker: Sutton Hayes from KTnB.

April 9, 2011 - South Jackson Civic Center Landscaping Project.  Grant provided by the Middle Tennessee Community Foundation.  Volunteers welcome.

March 26, 2011 - KCCB is partnering with Tullahoma Pride for a town clean-up.  Supplies to be furnished by Keep Coffee County Beautiful.


March 23, 2011
- Scott Riddell spoke at Hickerson Elementary to a group of 4-H students about recycling and litter prevention.

March 12, 2011 - KCCB provided activity and coloring books to Kroger for a "KIDS" appreciation day.

March 1, 2011 - "THE GREAT AMERICAN CLEAN-UP" BEGINS

Feb 11, 2011 - KCCB held its annual Groundhog Ball at the Lakewood Golf and Country Club in Tullahoma.  This year the event was sponsored by: (GOLD) Traders Bank, Coca-Cola Bottling, and Harton Regional Medical Center (SILVER) Wild About Smiles, Kilgore Funeral Home, and Ascend Federal Credit Union.  Contributors to the Groundhog Ball were Tractor Supply, Hillsboro Antiques, Annie Rone, Tullahoma On-site Bodyworks and Massage, Christy's, Bodyworks, Adanced Auto Parts, Tullahoma Drug Store, Jack Daniel's Distillery, Couch's Photography, Scenic View Golf Course, Tullahoma Lanes, Fantasy Radio, Manchester Recreation Center,Russell Barnett Kia, George Dickel Distillery, Glenda's Cakes and Catering, Honeycutt Family Dentistry, Hoover's Jewelry, Boskey's Grille/Willowbrook, Lasting Impressions, Marvel Clinic, Lyndsay's Russell Fielding, Hawk Hardware, Beans Creek Winery, Courtesy Dry Cleaning, The Silvermine, Kroger, Jane Martin, Home Depot, Auto Zone, Brinkley's Interiors, Addie's Embroidary, Larue Fielding Myers, Emil's, Fast Jacks, La Fuente, Ruby Tuesdays, Carolyn Norfleet, Lynda Welty, Fran Gray, Bonnaroo, Dr. Rimda Gupta, Rogers Group, Ann Young, Martha Ervin, Edley Ramsey, First Vision Bank, JP Designs, Woodards, Claire's Off the Wall, and several others.     The Groundhog Ball was a successful fundraiser and KCCB appreciates all the support from the Coffee County community.

Feb 2, 2011 - Scott Riddell spoke at Hillsboro Elementary to a group of 4-H students about recycling and litter prevention.

Feb 1, 2011 - Keep Coffee County Beautiful received a 2011 Award of Excellence from TDOT and Keep Tennessee Beautiful.

Jan 18, 2011 - The Board of Keep Coffee County Beautiful met for their monthly meeting.

Dec 14, 2010 - Groundhog Ball Tickets are now available.  Event tickets are $35 and Raffle Tickets are $5 each.  Prizes include: 2 tickets to Bonnaroo, Load of crushed rock, a backpack blower, a microdermabrasion.  Plus many other great prizes during the event's silent auction.  Tickets can be purchased from any Board member or at the C-cap Plaza in Manchester.

Dec 14, 2010 - The Board of Keep Coffee County Beautiful met for their monthly meeting.

Dec 10, 2010 - Scott Riddell met with Robert E. Lee's "Energy Team" to collect items for the local animal shelters and humane society and present them with a certificate of appreciation.

Dec 9, 2010 - Lynda Welty (aka Tootie Trash) spoke/read to students at Belaire Elementary

Dec 3, 2010 - Tullahoma Christmas Parade - KCCB with have a booth setup for fundraising and a float in the Parade.

Nov 5, 2010 - Representing KCCB, Lynda Welty, aka "Tootie", will be reading to kindergarden students at East Lincoln Elementary in Tullahoma.

Oct 29, 2010 - Representing KCCB, "Rocky" the raccoon passed out candy to trick-or-treaters during the downtown Halloween event.

Oct 28,2010 - Coffee County High School is having a campus clean-up.  Supplies are being provided by KCCB.

Oct 26, 2010 - Provided informational materials to Tullahoma High School regarding recycling and National Recycling Day

Oct 12, 2010 - The Board of Keep Coffee County Beautiful meet for their monthly meeting.

Oct 2, 2010 - Members of Keep Coffee County Beautiful partner with the Tullahoma Pride Committee and participate in a downtown clean-up.

Sept 27, 2010 - Scott Riddell is hired as the new Executive Coordinator of Keep Coffee County Beautiful.

Sept 25,2010 - KCCB participates in the 41-A Music and Arts Festival making hats for children by recycling old newspapers.
